Now included as part of the 5th edition: Changes or Corrections other than Grammar, etc. 1. Eight Tetrads There have been eight tetrads (four blood-moons in a row, on Passover and Tabernacles over two consecutive years, with no other type of lunar eclipse in-between them) since the birth of Christ. Statements regarding nine tetrads since the birth of Christ have been changed to eight tetrads in chapters 2, 8 and elsewhere. Early research by Mark Biltz stated that there were nine total tetrads since the birth of Christ. The research of the author and others has since confirmed that there have been only eight of them, a number closely tied to Christ and the principle of rebirth, renewal, starting over, etc. We are all renewed in Christ through repentance. 2. Blood-Moon at the Atonement Though there was a blood-moon occurring on Passover of 32 AD (page 148 in later editions), it was not visible over Jerusalem. A regular full moon would have been after the sun went down on this day, opposite the sun which was below the horizon. This error resulted from misinterpreting NASA's illustration for this blood-moon. The text for the change on page 148 (edition 5) now reads: Heavenly Signs in 32 AD According to the NASA eclipse website, there was a total lunar (blood moon) eclipse on Passover of 32 AD. It lasted 3 hours and 43 minutes, starting around noon, and was thus occurring at 3 pm Jerusalem time, the very time of Christ’s death on the cross (the “ninth hour”), according to Matthew 27:45-50, Mark 15:34-37, and Luke 23:44-46. God said, “I will cause the sun to go down at noon and I will darken the earth in the clear day” (Amos 8:9). The darkness described in scripture over Jerusalem was not caused by this eclipse, however, which was centered in the Pacific and not seen over Jerusalem. Darkness may have been caused instead by a severe storm and dust blocking the sun because of an earthquake that day. The 32 AD Passover eclipse does feature a “Tetrad-like” pattern of solar and lunar eclipses surrounding it, like the Tetrads on Holy Days of chapters 2 and 6, including those in 2014 and 2015. In summary, 32 AD did have, (1) a total lunar, blood-moon eclipse (but not visible over Jerusalem; (2) It occurred on Passover; (3) It was occurring at 3 pm Jerusalem time, the time of Christ's death on the cross; And (5) It featured an 8-part Tetrad-like sequence, with blood moons on both Passover and Tabernacles that year. Note In the chart above there is three hours difference from 11:57 TD (similar to Greenwich Mean Time as used by NASA, or very near 12 noon) to 2:57 pm in Jerusalem, or very near 3 pm, the time of Christ’s death on the cross. This is the “ninth hour” as reported by Matthew 27:45-50, Mark 15:34-37, and Luke 23:44-46.
